Time flies and we greet another winter vacation. In order to strengthen the connection between home and school, let parents better understand the school and class work, and jointly guide the children to study and live at home and realize the sustainability and effectiveness of home-school co-education, on 17th January, each class of the Junior High Department of the east campus held the online parents’ meeting through the DingTalk platform.
At the meeting, in combination with the class situation, each head teacher not only sorted out the class overview of this semester, analyzed the final exam results, pointed out the existing problems and gave solutions, but also guided parents to make reasonable use of the holiday to help the children plan their time, pay attention to physical exercise, combine work and rest, and help the children develop in an all-round way. In addition, the head teachers also emphasized the safety issues during the winter holiday, especially reminding parents and children to lay emphasis on the pandemic prevention and control. Evidently, the parents' meeting set the tone for the children to spend a safe, fulfilling and happy winter vacation.
Overall, the online parents' meeting was both a briefing for the head teachers’ work and an exchange meeting for home-school cooperation, which yielded good effect. As many parents put it, ‘It feels like a meeting even though we are across the screen. The attention of the school and the care of the head teachers make us feel warm!’
